You know, I'm quite surprised they showed Mellisandre "giving birth"; I thought they might draw the line there, but nope.
Shit's about to get interesting.

Hey, how freaking perfect is the actress they got for Brienne? Her and Pod were fantastic as a duo.

Oh yeah, she's utterly perfect. A work colleague, not having read the books, thinks the actress is incredibly wooden. I've tried explaining that this is very much how the character's portrayed in the books and that actually the actress is doing a stunningly good job of bringing Brienne to the screen, but I don't think he understands.

I'm getting more and more pissed off about content they're missing out on or changing from the books mind you.
Weren't Dany and her Dothraki meant to find that abandoned city before going to Qarth?
And none of her blood riders died in the book when they went scouting for civilisation.

This pissed me off though.

Also, the way Arya, Gendry and Co. got captured was completely different. They were on the lam for ages after the group got ambushed and then got captured later on by Clegane's men. Although, it's understandable how they have to skip some sections just to be able to fit it all into ten 1 hour long episodes I suppose.

What the shit did flame lady just give birth too, some kind of scary shadow demon? Renly has a problem methinks...

Also, i'm amazed at this show's capacity to make us hate Joffrey; everytime i think they cannot possibly make him more of a cunt they go one step further, christ.

yeah it works great for a show, but I honestly don't see how someone like that wouldn't have gone mad in real life and forked their own eyes out from such insane levels of cuntishness .

After reading the books season 2 is not as good as season 1. Their new plot lines are a little lame imo. And the pacing seems off somehow... It's good tv, but they really have diverged far further from the book this time around, and I'm not sure if it's a good thing... Glad it introduced me to a great series of books tho... Silver lining i guess heh

They should've cast Doombrain to play all the ugly chicks and use the extra money to shoot actual battle scenes :(

apparently they only killed the bloodrider b/c the actor had a scheduling conflict (as far as I was told, that is). doesn't bother me that they accelerated the Dany plot (and Arya's) a bit... frankly they both dragged on a bit and they're going to have to move things along to fit that long-ass book into one season.

This show is so damn good, I plan on picking up the books sometime. Tyrion is brilliant. I was sad Sean Bean was offed so early in the show, but all of the actors in the show have impressed me so much.

Nah Memph, the torturer with the rats and buckets is a completely different bloke. The Mountain leads that group; he was the REALLY TALL bloke next to Charles Dance (Tywin) when he came and stopped Gendry being tortured.

omg it went all harry potter at the end there. i do hope they don't start relying on magic to get things done, because that will just be gay as hell

also, there is a cure for being a cunt. pretty sure joffrey should take it

pretty sure tho

Nah, magic stays limited and freaky when it does make an appearance, so you can rest easy that people won't start force-zapping folk. For fantasy, it's pretty thrifty with the magic.
