People are constantly replacing their old phones...people like xeroes aren't the norm and phone manufacturers would be dumb not to constantly update their hardware..we aren't talking about devices that are only used to make phone calls.

Actually dipshit... My phone is a year old but I dropped it on a rock from 30 feet up while cutting down a tree (alpha male) and the screen cracked...

I'm talking to the Apple fan bois in particular but the cost of a replacement screen would probaly be far cheaper than the next gen phone that does the same thing

Did you miss the part where I said I will sell my old phone for the price of the new one? This upgrade will cost me nothing. Not that it matters if it didn't. I don't brag like Geoff, but a few hundred dollars is nothing to me. I'd like to think this argument isn't about money, but I'm beginning to think some of y'all are just butt hurt cause you can't afford a new phone (which isn't even that big of a deal)...

It costs you the price of the old phone and we're not butt hurt over price we laughing at the delusional excuses - like it costs me nothing. I havn't decided what phone I'm getting yet but when I do I'll be skipping 2 generations, I doubt it'll be an Applie either.

You don't know what justifies the price tag. Everyone on the planet has a different opinion on the value of their money. As with most technology you accept what advancement has been possible due to R&D. Saying someone should hold out till a company somehow fabricates what a consumer deems valuable....well enjoy waiting for your quantum computer. I choose to upgrade when my contact renews at two years because to me the subsidized price and the ability to sell my old phone for half of that to a faux anti consumerist with no expendable cash like yourself is worth it.

Like I said, a tool. For valuing such small increments at such a high value that mr average joe can do on his last gen phone, it's why these comapanies are rolling in cash, along with EA etc...

Plus the lengthy contract, if it's like the UK you'll be tied down to a contract that's 4.5 more expensive than the equivilent contract that's supplied without the phone, plus the down fee of 200 bucks, you're talking well over 1100USD and for what ?, next to nothing.
