Skimmed through this hot mess but I would like to say that I don't like feminism, socialism, entitlements or anything else that tries to "level the playing field".

Life is not supposed to be fair. There's this sick idea in the later generations' minds that every fucking thing needs to be equal for everyone. The very idea of equality goes completely against the progress of mankind. Technological milestones will not be reached, medicine will not get better, it will be a dead society. There will be no incentives to succeed. Where do you draw the line with equality? Do we all have to have the same job, same income, same uniform, same amount of food, on and on.....?

Life is meant to be competitive. Everything is, on all scales of existence. From the tiny imperfections of the early universe that led to the accretion of matter into stars, to the natural selection process of evolution. If the early universe were perfect and equal, nothing would exist. If all life forms were equal, there would be no evolution and we'd all be single-cell organisms.

This isn't black and white thinking—as though I'm suggesting proponents of equality are supportive of that extreme end—they just don't realize it's a fundamental fact of the universe. The more you try to equalize a system, the less it will evolve and become more complex.

Life isn't fair. I know that. Other people don't know that. It's not fair.

It's getting worse though. Everything mentioned in this thread is current events ?

no one believes in the kind of equality you're trying to describe, or has ever believed in it. besides, embracing identity politics means embracing 'difference', which is unstable ground for any conception of equality

also, when you appeal to "fundamental facts of the universe" you're committing the naturalistic fallacy ('is implies ought') FYI. social, cultural and legal norms can't be meaningfully compared with physical laws

You know what the really bad and most damaging thing about the PC justice warriors, white privileged bullshit and their influence is ?. It discourages discussion, as evidenced by this entire thread, me talking about innocent people being branded a racist / bigot / rapist n all that. It's justification for dismissing a persons arguement out of hand so a person can hold their beliefs and live like its the life on the god bus.

I get why too, just try talking to a group of people about Muslims, or Jews, the conversational minefield you need to navigate to avoid saying anything offensive is fucking insane and I get why. I mean we're asking these groups to pretty much acknowledge that their followers aren't mass murderers but either side sticks to their convictions (all muslims are terrorists / all whites are racists) there will never be any middle ground.

Imagine a world where everything offensive was disallowed ?, everything would just be 'accepted', nothing would ever be contested.
