Memories:

07:50 - 08:30
D'arcy being D'arcy, Billy just going along with our ritual of inviting someone new into the family, James never having mattered and Jimmy being the best drummer of our generation.

That was a great night out.

Never knew someone with Tourette's could be so much fun

Seriously though, I watched some more of her videos and she seems like a wonderful person. There is so much joy in her. She reminds me a bit of Lily Aldrin from HIMYM as well.

I have a friend with Tourette's who was a singer at Cirque Du Soleil... (I am not joking)

I'm not surprised. I know that people who stutter can often sing fine without problems as well.

Not really a fan of magic but I enjoyed this one as from as much research as I did this isn't even magic but legitimate skills. Apparently he was approached by the mob etc to play cards. Maybe it is magic and i'm just stupid but still enjoyed nonetheless.

Wait, what's your definition of magic? You know the "glowy sparkly wave your hands and wand and turn you into a frog" type of magic only happens in fairytales and Dungeons & Dragons, right?
All performing illusionists are legitimately skilled in the art of illusions.

Which is why I literally said maybe i'm stupid and it is a trick probably. I'm talking to a guy that originally said we should decide who lives and who dies when coronavirus first came out though so I can't really discuss this with you.

ehhh yeah.. of course it's a trick mate. A supremely skillful trick, but it's still a trick.

Not probably. Definitely.

Ricky Jay was one of my favorite card mechanics, super talented, sad that he passed away recently but his videos are on youtube and fantastic, I probably posted a few in this thread actually. I even tried my hand (pun) at learning this and I can do a few things but not on this level. I've bottom dealed a few for fun in front of people before and they never realized I was doing it until I told them.

Have you been watching Superstore on Netflix? I've literally just heard of that Kids in the Hall show yesterday evening, after googling Mark McKinney to see how much his Superstore character's voice was put on !

This is a Deep Analysis of the Opening Scene for Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino. I breakdown the camera set-ups, composition and framing, and point out key turning points in the scene where Tarantino changes his coverage scheme
I found the Quentin Tarantino filmography Wiki an interesting read.

I watched this series of documentaries by Noclip where they followed Supergiant Games (devs of Bastion, Transistor and Pyre) through the development of their 4th game Hades (currently the 4th highest rated game on Steam ever).

It's 6 episodes of 40-45 mins each and we'll worth your time IMO. It gives a unique look into the world of game development for a small 20 person indie company.

You've probably seen Jeremy Clarkson do this and you may have even tried yourself like I have and it works but why you ask?
