70-200mm VR - F8, 6 minutes

One of my photo from my industrial series will be published in next month's Popular Photography Magazine. Part of a story about shooting in low-light. 1 page full spread. Sweet.

Congrat! You really have a great talent there. I don't know if it is intuitive to you. In French we say - Tu as ça dans le sang.
Keep on the good work. I'll sure try to find the
next month's Popular Photography Magazine.

The only photo I've ever had printed in something with a meaningful circulation that I was actually paid for was this volleyball photo I did in the fall. In retrospect, I should have charged them more, but I really just wanted it printed >:E

Shooting sports is great. This friday I get to spend the evening on a bus with the women's gymnastics team :icon26:

$900USD - 85mm
$400USD - 50mm

Not sure how much shipping will be but I can definitely tag them as gifts to avoid an sort of duty.
I'm kinda interested in the 50mm f1.2
But I have a 50mm f1.8 already and I think I'm going to spend money on wide lightstrong lens.

If it were the 58mm Noct Nikkor
I haven't tried that 50, but the 85 is really nice. The guy I work with owns it.

Terrible photo. You didn't frame it properly. #3 is blocking the potential cameltoe. :icon33:

You mean girls that look like men. Good chance to take some environmental portraits with the blad me thinks. Not on the bus though.

What publication and how much did you get? This is my first publication in North America. More to come in the future hopefully.
Usually I get anywhere from $100-300 per photo plus free copies of the publication.

Looking at that pic, I realize how much I don't miss my D70. So much shadow noise even at ISO200.
