Scarface - 10/10

One of my favs :icon26:
Pacino gives an amazing performance. The film is violent but never makes drug dealing seem glamorous.

Nip/Tuck Season 2 - 8/10

Excellent series and cast (except for Julia, unf)

King Kong - 7/10

Was better than I thought it was going to be. The ice "skating" bit was uh...I don't recall anything like that in the original, but meh, been awhile. Of course this movie was about 45-60 mins too long.

Old School - 7/10

Was ok, but the parties could of been a lot bigger. They had the guy from animal house ffs, and didn't use him in those scenes at all. :s The gags where pretty good though.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse - 8/10

Was pretty good, better than I've expected, a lot better than the first. It opened up pretty fast, and didn't drag on any bits too long, which was good. Of course it wasn't really 100% true to the RE universe, but meh who cares.

The Postman with Kevin Costner 3/10. I'm still watching it now, it's been going on for almost 3 hours, with the plot wandering all around until I feel like going in there and shooting the Postman myself just so it can be over.

Saw MI:3. A good action movie, and it would get a 8 or 9/10 if that's all it tried to be. Unfortunately, Tom Cruise tries to turn it into a romance/action movie. It might work with someone who isn't fucking crazy, but seeing him act lovey-dovey on screen when I've seen him actually do the same fucking thing in real life makes me want to gag. Other than that, the action scenes are cool, especially the first one. The other scenes all seem formulaic or recycled from other movies, but they remain exciting. The super-villian, who looks like a fatter Keifer Sutherland, is very well acted and definately comes off as a sociopath who enjoys killing. Very cool bad guy.

7/10

Silent Hill

I like Rhada Mitchell and thought the movie wasn't that bad. Maybe I just like seeing women get brutalized, I don't know. Although the barbed wire going into that nun's pussy made me go "Wow."

I thought it was cool how the barbed wire snaked all around a couple of people and then tightened so fast that they just exploded into gore. Pretty much the only positive thing I can say about the movie.

I still have The Machinist and The Jacket sitting around waiting to be watched. And today I rented Amistad and 28 Days Later because they're both pretty well-known films and I never got around to seeing them. Now if only I can make time to watch them all.

Tombstone 9/10

Been a while since ive seen it, man i forgot how much i loved this movie :)
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

The Descent - 7/10

Good horror, more blood and gore than I'd expected, but the suspense was also good.

Hostel - 2/10 Complete and utter shit. I think Quentin Tarantino is a hack, and his philosophy seems to be "If I can't make shit films, I'll at least have my name associated with them."
The gore was gratuitous and stupid for the most part. The psychological aspects of the whole "Elite Hunting" operation could have saved the film if done properly, IMO. The attempts to illustrate the mindset of the "customers" were entirely superficial and without merit. The only reason I give this cinematic slop a 2 was for the nice titties.

Yeah, I saw that one and thought his portrayal of Captain Bligh was quite good. very different from Charles Laughton's rendition, more levels. Great nautical movie.
