No... it wasn't downscaled...
I don't know why those lines are glowing. I think it's due to the artificial lighting in the stadium, but I don't know why the other whites in the photo aren't glowing.

If you used a flash, it could have been that. Even low powered flashes can cause odd effects, which is why I never use one unless I have to.
On a side note, here's another photo, crappy, but with a story
Copy and paste of story because I can't be arsed to adlib a new one for q3w:
"Not a really great photo or even very good, but with so many photographers running around getting the same shots and without a backstage pass, I decided to create a unique opportunity and climbed a scaffolding for a new perspective. After about two minutes I was asked (read: told) to get down. Moral of the story is don't put up a scaffolding."

I usually don't use a flash, especially since it was outdoors, but it may have been on.
Anyway, here are some more...

Ugly bikes. That rolling shot of the GTI is sweet, though.

That's really bizarre looking :icon28:
One of these days I'm going to actually learn how to use a flash well

It looked cool as hell. Unfortunately, the water was so deep it fucked up the macro focus and the edges of the leaves came out blurry.
Oh well.
I have another photo of it, with a different view of another plant behind it... Colors aren't great, though.

They're a quite bit over exposed. You should use a fill flash or some kind of reflector to illumiate the front instead of lengthing the shutter speed

The background is overexposed, I'll try to use the HDR technique to fix it next time.
