Romney seemed to be running around covering his arse for most of the debate I thought, on how he would pay for anything, plus I thought he was a bit of a prick by talking over the moderator ? all the time. Guess shouting lies is better than whispering the truth ?. Do it BAMA, shout those lies, tell them he sucked off a horse !

gawker are trying to sell the story as some kind of revenge-inspired threat, but the bits they embolden don't really support that. it's still a weird email to send your employees though

Uhh, actually these parts make his veiled threats pretty substantial:
So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company. Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone.

Whose policies will endanger your job?

You see, I can no longer support a system that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Over the last week, it looks like Romney has jumped ahead in the polls for the general election...

tbh the guy just sounds like a blowhard. if he's as much a businessman as he makes himself out to be, he won't reduce his company's capacity to meet demand just out of spite over an obama re-election. that's just poor decision-making

then again, sending this retarded email in the first place was a poor decision (though in the context of weird fucked-up american business culture it may be par for the course for all i know)

It's definitely par for the course as the spoiled 1% goes.

Seriously...some of these people have their own twisted version of Christianity that basically says that Jesus loves rich people more. They're fucked in the head, pure and simple and this type of letter is exactly what you'd expect from these types of morons.

Here is my thought. There are three rounds to be fought before the election. Do you want to take the first round or throw the first and take the next two? I think Obama is playing with Romney and he has no clue what's coming in rounds 2 and 3. As usual - ignore me and continue with the discussion.
