in the book, mostly the former. in the show, apparently the latter.

Man how creepy would it be if he was walking around strapped to Hodor's back but controlling him directly? I know I'd consider it if I were him...

Ah. Joff (well I think Cersei gave the command) had Sansa's wolf Lady killed back in season 1. Arya's wolf Nymeria had bitten Joff (and he deserved it obviously) while they were all on the trip from Winterfell to Kings Landing. They couldn't find Nymeria so they had Ned kill Lady instead.

So its:
Lady - killed
Greywind - killed
Nymeria - missing after being cast away for her safety
Ghost - Jon sent him back to Castle Black, currently presumed missing
Summer - still with Bran
Shaggydog - still with Rickon

Ahh I remember. My season 1 is even worse than season 2, I actually rewatched that. I've still not seen the end of I Am Legend though

I'm wondering on what the direction is now, theres a pretty big hole in the show to be plugged with something else. Guess now is the perfect time for dragon lady to stir up some shit.

Also, the song they played was about Tywin's early life, Rains of Castamere, which is why Cat freaked out when she recognized it. Pretty bad ass song:

Yeah, they nailed it. When they first got shot down with the crossbows and it cut to another scene I thought "wait, that's it?" but I'm glad to see throats were properly cut

I think this quote reflects Catelyn's actions at the Red Wedding pretty well:

Operating under the assumption that her younger children, Arya, Sansa, Bran and Rickon, have all been killed, Catelyn can't bear to see Robb die at the hands of Walder Frey's hired goons. Well that was bloody shocking... wonder how they will possibly top this in the last episode of the season.

I think they won't. In seasons 1 and 2 the climax of the season was the 9th episode as well (Battle of the Blackwater was S02E09, for instance), with the last episode of the season being a bit of a "wrapping things up" episode. Guess they're going to do the same here.
