By his incessant bragging he is obviously proud to have a spouse who makes enough to enable him to raise their kids, but hes a lying if he claims its paradise. That shit is hard work and you can't walk away from it at the end of the day. My guess is he is looking forward to his change in career he is just too scared to admit it.


When I said mediocre I only meant it in so far as how well he does it (zing!). Stepping up and taking a decade or so out of your lives to raise your own children is hardly mediocrity. Being a mediocre parent is far worse. Any dipshit can have a kid. I know plenty of people who have kids who dump them off at the sitters every chance they get like raising their child is a bother. Nothing saddens me more.

WTF are you on about? There's approximately 2,400 under air/heat and 3080 under roof. Those are two very distinct and relevant totals. You said there was no way my home was 3000 sqft. I proved it was. Now you're moronically arguing because you can't admit you're wrong and move on.

The only square footage that counts is climate controlled and connected to rest of the house...so ur house is 2400 sqft... So basically u need to rethink what u thought about my house and urs... Got it?... K thx...

After i bought mine i already kind of noticed the sudden urge to discuss things like interior design, the pros and cons of different building techniques, the best place to buy a new kitchen and various well known and not so well known tax avoidance schemes with my friends - who inescapably answer my attempts at such conversation with bleak, irritated looks and profound silence - but i'll be goddamned if i turn into the kind of cretin that would discuss the proper way to calculate square meters.

Two minutes of searching Google tells me your house is 2,340 sqft and was assessed in 2013 for a market value of 114k. If you can't afford a proper addition to your home don't come here boasting about the size of the lean-to you tacked on the back.
