The pile on the sheepskin was thick, something like 25mm (1 inch) and was so luxurious
On the same note, i have just exchanged an email with the seller. He asked and I supplied some history.
He added,
"She still purrs like a kitten".. Funny, I never thought it was female, but still beautiful

The seats are killer yo, you need to get it
Reminds me of my uncles favourite car, a Fiat 132 Supermirafiori -
[lvlshot]http://www.roadsmile.com/images/fiat-132_black_5.jpg[/lvlshot]
Shitbox innit (that's not his), he strapped a super charger from the Abarth onto the 2ltr engine and drove it for years until one day the timing belt snapped, massive damage and only sold it to someone that promised they would get it back on the road.
About 10 years later we're walking around a scrapyard looking for parts for his current car and he looks over in the distance and see's a little Fiat tipped on its side between 2 stacks of cars. "nooo" I remember hearing, it fucking was. He ended up buying it and getting it back on the road. It's kept in storage now, buy back price was a few hundred quid, worth over 10k now.
Your car too, when you buy it back, I reckon will be one of those cars that doesn't get cheaper

. It's a classic example from the Turbo generation.

Innit, although if it was sold locally there's a chance it would've been scrapped locally. He's one of those guys that's always rummaging for car parts n all and when I was a nipper I used to tag along.
I think it's even more insane cos I remember that his was the only car that was tipped, all the rest were stacked 2-3 high and pretty much flattened. He was fuming, like, angry to the point where he's telling the bloke who he's trying to get the car from that he doesn't know what he's scrapping. Pretty much calling him an idiot.

I'm karting again soon, outside over 50mph karts was the most fun. That track has some decent technical, looks like it's got some areas that could get hairy with a few karts on the track.

got my first self owned car in 10 years yesterday. Had to carry a bread bag full of cash through some not so nice part of Manchester, which was fun.

Had a real win as well, this thing is loaded with added spec from auto high/low beam, sound system, adaptive headlights etc and I don't think the seller knew.

Nice grab and she looks good to, more important though did you get the free subscription to the times

When visiting DK we rented an GLA 220 with the auto high beam such a tiny little perk but an awesome feature when driving through the country at night.
Owned is pretty nice, the big joke here is when someone snaps photos at car shows and says "tag the owner" people start tagging local banks

It's a 320d m sport business edition. You get a free sub to the times.... It's the face lift model with 184hp but still gets 60 mpg which is some kind of modern miracle

What's the year of manufacture on the compliance(?) plate?

Yeah it's fun when you get some people who think they know what they are doing and you just outrace them. Only issue I have is that I am 200lbs and when you race a little shit who is 140lbs then you can catch in the corners etc but as soon as they accelerate you are done for.
Also there are a few things I have learned from watching the footage back and I am sure I could get another 1/2 a second off my lap time.

i had a LHD e30 325i sport for years and loved it. always wanted another, i'm very happy. Going to give it a right good ocd cleaning on saturday, will post a few pics.
it's taken me ages to find the colour/spec, i'd given up on spec so went for this as it's the colour i want. they had no idea that the spec is really high, it's a real find. even the rear seats fold down! (thats hard to find on a bmw)

Packing my shit and moving from the San Francisco Bay Area up to Seattle.
Current job is going to let me work remotely for a bit. I don't know anybody up there so it'll be interesting starting fresh with no sort of network.

Awesome. Seattle is a cool city. Moving somewhere new with no connections would be tough. Good luck with that. Tip: Accept every single invitation to go out and socialize. If coworkers ask if you want to go do something, do it. You'll make friends pretty quick...if you're not a complete weirdo...

A little more on this... We have exchanged a couple of emails and he has advised...
The lady i brought from had it as a Sunday afternoon ....go for a drive car.It was last registered
in 2003 and has been in a shed under a blanket and tarp so thats why its so well preserved.
I have had it for only about 18 months,I brought it as a hobby to restore but to be honest i didn't have to do much to the outside.
Its been that well cared for......
Still thinking but realistically the car is old and parts (if needed) might be difficult to get my hands on

@Phant + seremtan:
I wasn't talking about the entertainment factor of public/basic TV. That sure sucks as hell. I was talking about getting newsfeed.
In the morning, I like to watch several channels of news just to get an overview. And then, during or after work, I visit the internet to get more detailed info about whatever caught my interest. Background through Wiki, etc.
Yeah, don't expect the public channels that you pay through tax, to give you good entertainment. They are solely for news reasons.
That system will fall, eventually. Until then, I will use it.
