It was too much talking and not enough screenshots in this thread.

I've been quiet lately, but I'm still working on the texture pack and design studies.

Image

I discovered a way to make practically any texture (surface) look painted. I used white, because I consider making white paint the hardest. Other colors could be easily overlayed sometimes.

Here's the tutorial

I really like the idea of place, but I think, overall, it does not look very good and it's because of textures. Can You use ones in better resolution?
Second thing IMO is lighting - it's all to bright. If it's day time - why lamp is shining?

donkey will correct me on this but it was an art test and had to be done *very* quickly, like in a couple of days and sent off to them. Under those circumstances it does the job well. The textures/lighting can always be fixed later as the structure is there.

Method: you are in a league of your own. Once again, wow!

Hipshot: I like the style of that, it's cool.

Easy gentlemans ;) as I wrote above, I like what I saw, but just said what I liked to. Didn't know it was made in two days. And yeah - I know textures and lighting can be changed later ;).

Peace

easy? lol, I wasn't being 'hard' ;). Anyway, I know you won't have known about the timeframe, which is why I mentioned it, as donkey forgot to add that when he posted the shot. He also forgot to mention it was a model (bad donkey, bad!), which generally speaking more people should be looking at; brush tech is on it's last legs (as has been sad before).
