If Mueller concludes that Trump fired Comey over the Russia investigation, nothing Sessions or Rosenstein said in their hearings will turn out to be false. Sessions denied any collusion with Russia, and Rosenstein said he’s leaving such questions to Mueller. But on the question of whether Trump fired Comey to obstruct justice, and whether the president orchestrated a cover story to conceal that obstruction, the two men Trump enlisted are taking care not to vouch for his innocence. Maybe that’s because they can’t. Maybe they know they were used, and they don’t want to get caught in a web of lies.

At the end of the day, even when Trump resigns, because that's going to happen, and he's pardoned by the next guy, cause that's going to happen too, the next guy will be just as bad as Trump.

Hell, maybe even the next guy might get impeached, or resign before the impending impeachment looms over him, the guy following that guy, is also a terrible person, and the guy after that.

In case you're wondering, I believe it's Mike Pence, and Paul Ryan as the next two after Trump. the US is properly fucked for the next 4 years.

I'm still amazed that this idiot won. Just goes to show how much people are disgusted by fake leftists like the Clintons. On the other hand, I'm not sure how many people realize that the Clintons were always super far right wing, and the only reason they're hated by right wingers in power is that they conned everyone into thinking they're left while being able to take a ton of donor money while passing right wing policies. Nafta, 'welfare reform', locking perhaps hundreds of thousands of people in prison for decades-life for non-crimes, FCC, etc. All Republican wet dreams.

The root of the entire thing is enshrined corruption and corporate personhood. I'm not sure that most people outside of the normal political discourse are aware that those things can cause catastrophic problems.
