Aeon Flux - Although it has almost nothing in common with the animated shorts/series, it's an ok sci-fi action flick. The direction and editing is not as smooth and appealing as I would have hoped, and the action sequences do leave something to be desired, but I guess that is what one would expect from such an inexperienced director. A more John Woo-esque style and finesse in the action sequences would have fitted the heritage, but I guess that you can't expect that kind of quality from every movie.

i think this one went straight to dvd or something. don't recall it being in the theater and it's a little old (1999).

pretty well done and it's at least not some lame rehash from yesteryear

Oh, I think I rented that a couple of years ago. I thought it was really, really bad. I don't understand how Jamie Lee Curtis would agree to do it after reading that script. And Donald Sutherland too, I mean, wtf?

Running Scared 6/10
Much better than I expected, gritty, fast-paced, and very suspenseful. It's very violent at times, but well short of Tarentino-esque levels of spurting blood fountain idiocy. Some interesting, if not entirely innovative plot twists, and one sequence that made my fucking skin crawl.
Certain elements of the film are simply not very believeable, but they're easily set aside and don't really detract from the overall enjoyment of the movie.

Rent it.

Jarhead - Not really adding anything to the genre, except maybe the total lack of combat.
That would be the interesting point, then:
Not war being hell in a violent and gruesome way, but hell due to boredom and frustration.

The Hills Have Eyes (remake) - Total waste of time.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Ace film, even if it did have Jim Carry.

Superman Returns - 8/10. It's pretty good, has a lot of romantic junk which I usually hate, but for some reason it didn't bother me.

The Libertine

Johnny Depp is awesome. This movie, not so much, though it did leave a distinct impression.

Cars and Superman Returns, enjoyed both.

Finally watched Blade: Trinity the other night - what a God awful movie.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Superman Returns 7/10
Very good film, for a comic book. Yes, a bit too much romantic BS, but awesome special effects and a decent storyline.
