The Matador.
I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't what I expected. Not much action, more of a story of two men with very different lifestyles kind of living vicariously through each other...more of a dark comedy than an action flick.

i really enjoyed matador - watched it twice in the theatre. I had no expectations going in as i had never seen previews.

Syriana 8.5/10
I really liked parts of it, By far Cloony's best moovie, kinda fell apart/got too confusing in the 2nd half...might have to wach it a few morre times. Interesting subject matter, CIA/Corporations/Oil Companies all in bed together....
I'd recommend it, thinking of buying it.

Not much nudity or fucking after the first few episodes, though with a little prompting I'm sure Riddla would part with one of the Director's Bootleg XXX versions he's been hoarding. He's got a freighter that brings a crate of them across the neutral zone from time to time.

Fun with Dick and Jane
6/10. It's an okay movie to kill some time I guess. Jim Carey has a few funny parts.

The new pirates of the carribean movie.
Not very good, full of cliches and repetition from the first. This 'trilogy' feels like it's going to wind up just like the matrix, great first episode, then 2 unplanned and half finished follow ups.
Shifting the 2 pirates from barbosa's crew to jack's was really cruddy too.

Memoirs of a Geisha.
7/10 - quite good, maybe even an 8 - sort of a love story, but not a chick flick.

The cinematography in that movie was stunning. Gorgeous film.
Any Given Sunday 7/10 Saw it again for about the fourth time, not the deepest of subjects, but Pacino and Foxx are great. Plus, you can't beat LT Taylor cutting Jamie Foxx's Suburban in half with a concrete saw.

Pirates #2. 8/10, it was great if you've seen the first one (and i dont know why you'd see the sequel without the previous film......), but there was a bit too much fantasy for my taste.

Outland: 6.5/10 One of my favorite Connery roles and Peter Boyle is excellent in this. Slightly held back by the predictable ending.

Watched Syrania - was OK, but I didn't see it as warranting quite as much acclaim as it got.
6.5/10
Aeon Flux - I only made it through about 40 minutes or so..mentioned in another thread, this pile of shit was awful. Horrible acting, lame dialogue (mentioned seeing bits ripped off from things like Minority report, Mission impossible, and many other generic futuristic sci-fi movies...) and I also mentioned in the other thread - why do guards always have to have such stupid looking helmets in these movies?
3/10.
And wedding crashers - director's cut. Some funny, but it was a bit long. 7.5/10.
I like Will Ferrell, but he's being over-injected into movies a la Ben Stiller....
