I'm not sure whether players who use aliases is a good thing or a bad thing.

On one hand, it makes it look like there's more unique players online (is that a good thing?)

On the other hand, it hinders development of community when many players use a different name every time you play them.

I've got several nicks, but I rarely use any of them aside from my standard name.

I always use Survivor unless it's taken in which case i'll switch to a dutch nick which is never taken.

I always play as ||TF||Topic (even though the clan is dead for over a year now). I have other binds for the other clans I'm in, but Topic is a constant

I hate when people use an obvious alias when they play on the same server all the time (ex: AP Lounge) because I don't know their skill and style of playing, therefore I can't adapt my strategy right away.
