As soon as the employees had enough signature, walmart close the store, for no reasons.... It happenned 3 time in quebec.
Same reason I don't shop at Walmart either.
McDonalds does similar things too.

I try not to support products made with low wage slave labour.
There needs to be basic human rights for workers before I consider it a fair free trade item.

i hope you know i was pointing out the fallacy behind Walmart's previous claim of their products were "made in the USA", NOT the fact that many things in our posession are made in China. i'm quite aware of that fact, and honestly, i don't care WHERE a product is made - not an argument there.

I won't make a discussion out of this comment, suffice it to say Walmart recieves more criticism than it's due.
No, it doesn't receive enough. Especially on the small towns point.

Critics say his zeal for cost-cutting set the stage for some of the controversies that now dog Wal-Mart. But for better or worse, Walton's mission to serve as the "agent" for consumers has changed retailing forever.

the irony with the nay-sayer's is this

sam made it affordable for lower income people to get more

bettering their standard of living and improving quality of life instantly

while the unions want to seduce wal-mart labororers into their over-priced self-serving mini-economy

ala general motors

greedy fucks from top to bottom

and we know where gm is heading...

these are SMALL privately owned business, not a big corporation like WalMart. there's really nothing to argue with you about here, stop grasping.

untrue, since you'll most likely have better customer service from a local business.

well... they wouldn't let anyone play it.
just had the unit on-hand and were showing it off, answering any questions... handing out promo-material to the various sales people.
suposedly they're going to be running some give-aways next month... if i win one i'll leave it in the box... that way i can trade someone for a ps3. (when it comes out)

Laff at Walmart.

Patriotic Customer: "Why is all your music censored?"
Patriotic Salesperson: "Because we're a family-oriented store."
Patriotic Customer: "Oh, so is that why you sell guns across from the toy department?"

Patriotic Salesperson: "I'm sorry, I wasn't listening. I was busy putting more commercial products in the middle of the aisle in a violation of common safety sense so you can buy more shit."
