Ok, since playing on my server, I went back on a public server. You know, I'm getting a little disheartened. There were only 6 players, and my framerate was averaging 18 to 20fps. This is having put my settings down to low quality, 640 res on a 9800pro and XP2000 and 768 ram. It's basically unplayable a lot of the time, not to mention the enemy models I've moaned about. At the moment I can't see much benefit in playing Q4 since not only is it pretty much just Q3 in new clothing, but it's not even offering me an experience which is better. I can't really afford to upgrade my system right now, and I'm not sure I'll ever be happy until some decent mods come out. Anyone else feel this way?
