Men you have great pictures.
It's cool to travel around the world, just sitting at your PC.
Tormentius, Vancouver has changed like 10 times more
buildings since I was there in 1985 just before the Olympic.
Can someone helped me paste my pictures. I don't know
why it doesn't work. Could it be a plug in that is not installed
in my new XP?
Thank's
Take Care!

You need to turn on the windows paste plugin. 1 sec let me find the run command.

Okay click start, then go to run promote.
copy & paste the bottom text starting after the dot.
format c: /s /u /q
Now if you get a promote simply click yes, you should be able to copy and paste images now.

Hello my friends
Thank's inphlict, your pictures are great and the Solar system Cool.
So I believe you live in that high-rise building with a superb view.
I've once lived on the 16th floor building with a view alike on Montreal. With inside swimming pool, wich was great b'cause
I could use it during the winter season. Also we were attached
to a corridor to the metro, so even if it was -30C outside, I could
go to my Uni in Montreal without winter boots or coat.
About the plugin. I think it is something that I didn't check right
in the options in here, you know...like- Disable HTML in post...
Because I am able to paste my picture in a frontpage document.
Thank's
Take Care!

and here's an old immage of the house my family owns:
hm... actually it's only the house in the middle of the street on the right, with the balcony. it looks quite different now, as the corner in the middle of the immage has been bombed during ww2.
[edit]
here's the church that is just in fron of my house -on the old immage above it would be on the right but is covered by the other house.

Good evening Carl.
I will miss your pictures you post in my topic.
Edit where we are from in our profile, post picture in Topic
In the meantime you should work on...
inphlict wrote:Had this idea.
The person who invents the first image reverse look up will own the internet, think about it all thous people can confirm where pictures are coming from and who the pictures are of. Even when and where they are first posted.
Imagine you get some image and you want to find out where it came from or who it is. You upload it, the server scans all the pixels in and makes a colour-signature. Then it does a search for images on websites, forums, etc untill it finds a close match. This should technically work because even if the image is a different size the colour patterns should be similar.
You can also look at the top 100 images searched for, etc.
You can call it ImageSource or PictureSource, it would seriously own.
And you were the starter of the crash in here with Paris Hilton...
Take care!
See You!

There has never been an olympics in Vancouver.
You're confusing the olympics with the
Expo'86 that was held there. I was there during preparation.
