that's the problem with dogs :(

if they look around their environment and don't see anything that looks like a serious challenge to their authority, they'll become impossible to control and need to be destroyed.

maybe if your missus could bring herself to spend more time at home, the dog would've had someone it could look up to.

I thought that initially, but it's a bit of a long winded name to shout for a dog.

I quite like Ajax

I just frikkin love dogs, especially the ones with long, squishy noses and huge ears, they just own.
My sentiments exactly! I also really like when they put their noses in your hair and do that funny thing where they breathe in and out a bunch of times followed by a big exhale. Know what I'm talking about?

P.S. More pictures as he grows, please!!!

"ODIN" is the only solution for a Great Dane.

A friend of a friend of mine has a Great Dane named Odin and it ate two huskies once.

Great Danes are inaccurately named by the way - it is a german breed. They're called "German Dogs" in Germany and France and were originally introduced in the city of Ulm.

truth be told, a dude at my work has two danes, one blue and one the same as Shade ( i forget the name of them ? )

and one is nammed Gunner, i forget the name of the other ATM.

anyway, he feeds them 12 Chicken Brest's a day... it works out to be cheaper then dog food ( he buys in a quite the large bulk ).
and it said to be beter for them...

No idea if that is true though.

danes get fucking massive. Hopefully you have alot of room for him to play, if not, that's sad. As far as dogs go, they're fucking amazing companions. If i owned an acreage i'd defenatly buy one
