It's probably one of the top custom maps we run on our DM server right now. It has a really nice flow even for 8 players which is hard to find in custom maps right now. Everyone;s focused on Tourney maps. :(

{uZa}FreakOfNature: Actually, this was designed as a tourney map also (for the Fragarcade duel map making competition). I'm surprised you can fit eight ppl in this map.

The final version of my map for the Fragarcade duel map making competition is now finished.

Changed the respawn time on the MH to 120 seconds.

Changed the texture on the "crusher" in the MH room.

Fixed some misaligned textures throughout the level.

Removed the clip brushes from the stairs (Version 1.1 patch fixes stairjumping).

Included an addon.conf file so this map will be compatible with the auto-download

feature of the new patch.

Thanks to everyone who offered their constructive suggestions. I had a lot of fun working on this map.

Sorry, I said 8 players but I meant even on our 8 player server. Usually there aren't more than 4 or 5 on at a time. VERY nice map though.

I love it!

Just a few things...

The end of the MH conveyor, can you put a curve here? It looks a bit odd with this random striaght edge just ending there...

And the teleporter, how come if i fire HB shots into it one by one they all go through, but if i constantly fire into it they all come right back out :shrug: Is that some new antispam stuff Q4 1.1 added?

Cool! serverage!!

o'dium: actually, the end of the conveyor is curved. The room started out a having pit you could fall into, but as was pointed out (among other things), it made the room way too dangerous. I clipped it straight across and got rid of the pit, so now it is very hard to see (unless you die in the fire and fall on your side!)

Don't know about the teleporter. I didn't do anything differently when I created it. I'll have to check it out.

yeah just checked again, i see it :p

But yeah, the teleporter does indeed rebound all my shots :|
