we need a mailing list in case this site goes down for good. base it off of the user table for this forum. only send an email to the people who have been active in the last 100 days or so. this would seem a better way to make sure everyone is contacted (including people in other forums, if they care), not just the few who are aware of some alternate forum posted in a random thread.
