This clearly means NIN sucks because I can trivialize their music.
Year Zero's starting to grow on me now too (as with all the albums). NIN has that distinctive sound across all albums yet they all have something unique to them that sets them each apart.

I actually like the album With Teeth quite a lot. I think it's because the amount of "industrial" sound in it is somewhat smaller to some of the other songs I have here and there, but then again I don't think I have any of the full albums prior to With Teeth. Year Zero has some good tracks but I need to listen to it a bit more than I have for it to grow on me. Tracks like Great Destroyer sort of divide me though; I liked the beginning quite a lot but the "industrial" sound on the second half is a bit too strong and noisy for my taste... again why I think I liked much of the album With Teeth so much. Call me main stream if you like :P

Just getting a little fed up with the constant sheep negativity around here lately. But now I'm being the douche for getting mad at an opinion so meh.

nah, just seemed stemmed from the other thread. i mean at least you can tell Trent's voice from others. that's the problem with most metal nowadays. not even the voice is discernible.

Prompted by but not started by. I'll give you that though, it's getting hard to tell them apart.
