If it's impossible to prevent try to do what you want before it happens. Not waist energy trying to change the inevitable. That's what i'm saying.
Not that it isn't important just that if we can't change it we shouldn't worry about the event, nor the things after the annihilation of the human race during the event but what we do before it.
