What the fuck are you moaning about?? Energy from gravity is converted into mechanical, which is converted into electomagnetic....?!Kracus wrote:Yeah do you understand how the HYDRO comes into play in that particular example?Wizard .3 wrote:We harness magnetic energy all the fucking time. Do you understand how a hydroelectric dam works?!?Kracus wrote:Yeah that's where I figure magnatism and gravity might be able to work together... I wonder what causes the loss of friction.. Cause magnets do actualy provide a form of propulsion but it's hard to harness I figure...
Magnetic Perpetual Motion Machines

No matter what configuration you use, or which forces you harness, you cannot create energy out of nothing.
I don't understand why you think combining gravity and magnetism would somehow allow you to violate reality.
Well fuel propels a vehicle and like what's his name mentioned hydro power does move other objects enough to create energy despite the fact that it's just water falling because of gravity. Gravity, is still there, with or without the water, and the water finds a way to the top of the mountain on a pretty consistent basis through evaporation etc etc... So... Although it isn't permanent it is pretty long lived, so obtaining energy through natural means other than explosions (Gasoline) is possible.

Maybe that's how I can create a perpetual motion machine, by harnessnig the earths warmth I could cause water to flow down a tube to power a generator and then cause the water at the bottom to evaporate, go to the top, where a flow of cool water sits causing it to transform back into water which flows down the tube.

Kracus, it's pretty clear you don't have a consistent interest in any of the crap you spout here. It's fleeting at best, because if you actually gave two shits you'd pickup some of the lay-friendly physics texts out there and read them (gawd forbid).

you know, when i was reading this thread i was thinking of this 'idea' people utter everyt once n a while and how utterly retarded its logic is.Kracus wrote:Maybe that's how I can create a perpetual motion machine, by harnessnig the earths warmth I could cause water to flow down a tube to power a generator and then cause the water at the bottom to evaporate, go to the top, where a flow of cool water sits causing it to transform back into water which flows down the tube.
i never gave you much credit, but i did give you more than that
