ffs, I like Craig MacTavish, but if he puts Conklin in again, I'll lose respect for him. Markkanen ftw :icon14:

no no, he was shitting his pants being the starting goalie and first playoff appearance that just so happens to be the Finals.
p.s. Carolina blocking is unreal.

but at this point Oilers' offense is lacking and Carolina's D is superb.

I really like his attitude - cool, calm, responsible. It's the Finnish way :icon14:

WOO! Hate to see a team gain such an advantage through an injury, but GO 'CANES!

well... like you said in the other thread... i guess I can take some solice in knowing my boys were beat by the best team in hockey. (in the last period of game 7 no-less)
but it still burns me that the city of raleigh doesn't *deserve* it.
i'm thinking brind'amore gets the smythe trophy this year.
at least that is certainly deserved.
and if edmonton doesn't get their shit together, they're going to be playing golf next week.

we were healthy when the flyers played us... so your team lost to the *real* best team in hockey.

Who the hell is he talking about? Sabres?

don't worry, he's high.

Thanks. Sabres wouldn't make sense because they didn't beat the 'Canes. That was really bothering me
Anyways, I like MacTavish's choice with Markkanen. In the end, he played a great game. It's Edmonton's fault for not getting any traffic in front of Ward and playing sloppy defence. Plus 4 out of the 5 goals were all unlucky deflections.

i agree - i think he did pretty well considering. definitely the wise choice. there was just no denying the 'Canes offense AND defense. also, i believe 3 of those goals were powerplay goals? shame shame.
