In towns its laggy.. Once you get away from the main town, it smooths out alot..Pauly wrote:Fuck me, you sure about the lag? I can't even fucking move.
Also, if your playing during asian primetimes, its a tiny bit laggy.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Now it is. My comment was partly in jest, because it's practically a dead game, but it's the best MMO (not so much RPG really) I've played. I think it was actually horton who turned me onto it so many years ago.
Stray Bullet games bought it and made it ad-based (which are easily circumvented) and I think the plan is to do some research using the current infrastructure and probably release a sequel in the future.
If you've got some time to kill and don't mind the extremely dated graphics, it's still a good time. You also don't need a killer machine to run it, which is good times for me since I've been lax in my upgrades in the last couple years.

If anyone wants to try it out, join the Redemption server and I'll hook you up.

To anyone who doesn't want to download this from fileplanet, I found this link off filemirrors.com
http://gamedaily.newaol.com/pub/0078701 ... taller.zip
So are all the expansions included in the free version? Do they even update the game anymore?

Yep, both expansions are free now too. The game is actively maintained by the Stray Bullet guys.Deathshroud wrote:To anyone who doesn't want to download this from fileplanet, I found this link off filemirrors.com
