Ahaha that reminds me:
The other week i witnessed this severely handicapped guy in a wheelchair look around this intersection, seemingly waiting for something... and when the lights went green for the cars the guy punches his chair forward at what was probably top speed, zooming diagonally across the intersection. Cars honked like crazy and had to perform emergency evasive action not to run over the cunt, who actually managed to get to the other side unharmed.
Yesterday i see the same guy doing the same damn thing
I think he's either some sort of suicidal idiot in a wheelchair, or he's inventing a new sort of extreme sport for handicapped people.

my mom works with the metally handicapped
"she says she had a lot of practice as a joke alot"
anyway . all the children and adults she takes care of have a DO NOT RESUSCITATE ORDER" on them .
i didn't ask her what this meant because to me it's self evident.
i think if i'm right it's quite disgracefull what their parents have put in place.
if a kid needs resuciatation my mom is to let them die.

I have an autistic nephew, he is fully one of the nicest kids, just have to understand where he is comming from and why.... its not that hard, are we really so superficial (appart from kracus)??

Retards aren’t the problem – the problem is disabled people demanding to be treated like every other human being when it suits them.
One event that has always stuck in my mind is an argument between my dad and a bloke in a cripple carriage (or mobility cart for want of a better word) that took place in Whitby. This bloke ran into the back of his legs as he made his way through the crowd – he wasn’t saying ”excuse me”, he wasn’t asking for people to make way, he wasn’t even using a horn.
He had just expected my dad to move, and when he didn’t he simply rammed him to get him out of the way. His logic throughout the course of the argument was that he was disabled, and that he should have moved because he had right of way. He was trying to enjoy a day out like a normal person.
My father’s reply to this was simple:
”If you want to be treated like a normal person, I’ll push you and your fucking buggy over, then stand here and laugh as everybody walks past laughing because nobody helps you.”
I’m normal like the rest of you, but I demand special allowances!

I think the general idea is that most severely handicaped people are already in a terrible state from a health point of view. If they ever get to the point where they need resucitation it is likely because their body is already shutting down. If someone was to revive them it would only be for a short time in which the handicapped person would be far worse off then they were before.

Yeah, I get the premise behind it, it's I suppose necessary for someone severely disabled (though it brings into question who can make the call on quality of life outside of the person involved). Just the idea of slapping a tag on them isn't so nice, but without that you need another way.

the elderly are just as infirm as a retarded person yet we go all out so they can live a few more days.
i had a freind who's greatest day and worse day happened when his son was born severly autistic .. he had to quit his job and move to a town that had the facilities to take care of his son.
the kid hurts himself all day on purpose banging his head etc
they are financially devastated and their quality of life is horrible.
in his place i don't know if i had enough love and courage it in me to
do what he is doing.
