Sorry man. :( Hope you get it worked out.

I guess I should also do the obligatory Starforce warning here. TMN does install a version of Starforce despite the fact that it's free. Some people have had problems and issues with Starforce. TMN has never given me any sort of trouble, but ...just sayin'.
Starforge - don't install this game if you're running games on Daemon Tools.

I have TMN installed and mount the occasional game with DT without any problems.

You *may* have to disable DT before being able to run TMN, though (set number of devices => disable).

And that also goes for similar apps, like alcohol, I suppose.

Back on topic, I can't really map :icon21:

That is, I *am* technically able to produce 'stuff' in all iD- and Unreal engines, but lack the patience and drive to finish something worthwhile.

And I've been at it, on and off, for about 10 years (ever since Doom) :olo:

Nevertheless, I still enjoy the experience of mucking about with editors.

A man after my own heart, lol. I'm exactly the same way. Not one finished product starting back with DOOM.

Plan B & Scourge34:

I've seen some below standard maps (box map, loaded with rockets, few brushes in there - or another DM17 redux).

Isn't it possible you set the standards too high...?
I made my first released map after making loads of test maps, trying stuff out, I'm sure you passed that point? Release, release!!

More like I'll get fairly close to a possible beta and lose interest in that particular map or just run out of ideas. And yeah, a lot of times I'll just look at it and go "well, that's crap" and never touch it again.

I made a passable house in sauerkraut ... er, sauerbraten. Posting screenshots? Hell no.
