heh, re: the spacebar thing. Yup, almost everyone I know says the exact same thing and most do play with space = jump far as I know. Whatever works for us all right

I use right mouse as jump.
Space bar switches between rocket & rail.

and let me be really clear here, i don't care what your binds are or much of anything about config prefs... but mousewheeling to scroll through weapons (or any other config where you can't get exactly the weapon you need instantaneously) is slower than directly binding keys. it's harder to remember binds *at first*, but once you get used to it your game will be better. if you're happy with how you play, good for you. but if you want to improve, why not start with the obvious?

I think he/they need to see a demo of a top q3 player to see how the game is played. :]

I like youtube or google video because you dont have to download nothing, the video is already there to see! easy and fast.

whilst that may be the case, you still have to download the video. Look carefully, it says "Buffering Video". What do you think that means?
Replay or demo files for Quake 3 are 5mb or less.
