Thats different than most of the plans here. I pay for incoming and outgoing calls during the day but the weekends and evenings are free for both.SplishSplash wrote:
I only pay if I call people. How is having Voicemail going to help me?
If an unknown number calls me on my personal cell during the day I'll often let my voicemail catch it and get back to that person later when its convenient.

I'm coming to the end of my 2-year contract, so it's about time to get another phone. I like my Sony-Ericsson (z500) but not enough to become brand-loyal. My cable is getting a little dodgy, but if they've changed it, that's a Good Thing(tm). I would (and do) recommend Sony Ericsson to friends, but I think I might branch out a little if I get another phone this year.

I could have gotten that one, but didn't because I thought it was too wide and would break if I sat on it.feedback wrote:SplishSplash wrote:I just got a new cell phone:
It's really really tiny.
Yeah mate that's okay if it's all you can afford, I just got the Samsung T519![]()
BTW can't you get it in black over there?

looks quite a bit better in black I think:

Why would they go through the trouble of making a phone uglier for the US?
EDIT:
And why are there different phones for each provider on their website? This is very confusing.

of course it looks better in black. most pieces of gear do. not sure how it works over there, but our phones get "branded" in the states. some providers going as far as REMOVING features (crippling) phones so you have to use, say, their data plan. Verizon/Sprint have in the past crippled bluetooth for this reason alone.SplishSplash wrote:

Do you have to be so stereotypically American? You are my altnick, after all.j1126 wrote:Cell phone service is a myth. Give me an old Brother typewriter, a stamp, and a US mail postman with an AK-47 over "Boost Mobile" any day, my message WILL get there even if blood gets spilled..
The answer is that Koreans are among the weirdest people I have ever encountered.juggs wrote:a question that will never get a proper answer.

Yeah, they do that over here. Or used to, rather.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:of course it looks better in black. most pieces of gear do. not sure how it works over there, but our phones get "branded" in the states. some providers going as far as REMOVING features (crippling) phones so you have to use, say, their data plan. They realized that when they overdo the branding people just don't buy phones from them anymore.
(You can go into a store and get the phone for the same price or even less than from an "official dealership". Well, over here you can, don't know about yall)
