"We got a lot of guys on. We swung the bats OK but we just couldn't get the big hit," A's manager Ken Macha said. "We've gone through some periods like that this year. Let's just keep getting the baserunners. I'm OK with that. We'll wind up getting a big hit sooner or later."

No pressure, they know they have it. Just a matter of time before it clicks.

they'll win. Hitting into the LCS record of 4 double plays is no big deal. Hitting into the most double plays in the majors this season is no big deal.
When shit clicks, it clicks. They'll have it just like when they beat the Twins.

going hitless at 13 at bats with runners in scoring position is kind of a big deal though. But come on, if they were able to turn just half of those they would have won.

oh, what's that, 2 hits against Verlander in the first? A's are on they're way to a 16 hit game.

top4th edit: wtf esteban f u
top5th edit: nice double play, now bottom of fifth is going to be a 3 runner and A's lead for the rest of the game.
bot5th: verlander's getting a little visit olo
top6th: fuck
bot6th: A's homer, still no outs. 3 run game now.
Verlander out
bot7th: A's homer. 2 outs. 2 run game now.
Ledezma out
jesus christ Frank, that's you're 4th time striking out this game. You're supposed to be a designated hitter for fucks sake.

I forgot nl games are better to watch since their pitchers actually have to bat if they want to keep them in. Adds some more strategy to the game especially if you have guys in scoring position. I just wish there was an NL team I could like other than the Giants.

A's will win in Oakland, many will be arrested. Randy Moss will be stoned at the time of victory even though he has nothing to do with anything.
I made a pretty accurate representation in the form of a graph for visual ppl.

fuck.

man, I was double wrong. I'm surprised the Mets didn't take the championship, hell I was surprised it even went to game 7, but whatever, makes it more fun to watch.
Come on St Louis. Fuck the Tigers. Also, AL wins way too often. (Even though the only NL team I like is The Giants).

mets starting pitching. no el duque, no pedro, a rookie number 2 starter and the pitcher with the highest season era to start a post season game in the history of baseball in oliver perez.

and detroit should win. the long break could hurt their momentum but i doubt it will turn their pitching into anything less than great.

word, Kenny Rogers pitched an amazing game though last game. I hope it doesn't go to game 6 for that reason.
