I had roughly 50 days in my main character. 50x24=1200 hours. 15x12+50=230 game cost. 450-230/1200=18 cents per hour profit.
Oh and I only played the game for ~8 months.

Heh, I admit I was a lifeless nerd for the better part of last year. I don't regret it either. If anything I wish I hadn't lost interest because now I have these huge gaps of time when I'm bored with nothing to do.

Whats sad is that enough Chinese people make good money being paid that rate to power level characters and farm gold that it has become a serious industry over there.
