Didn't take any time off so it's just two 4-day weekends for me. Good enough, I'll take 'em.

Not going anywhere for the holidays, but on Jan. 7th I'll be flying to Atlanta, picking up a shuttle and heading to Brasstown, NC for a week for a surface design class. Looking forward to it.

I 'smell' a story there
I think I told that one before...it involved me being bound up for days, taking some laxatives, one toilet for all the guests to share, those things hitting me full speed in the morning with everyone trying to share the bathroom to get ready, etc. Made for a tense situation.

when people like us say training, we often are just referring to our weight training.
i'm guessing that's what he means. but maybe he is training for a walking marathon or disc golf tournament.

oh you like pink martini? My sister dated one of the guys in it (one of the non-gay ones, obviously) and the lead singer is a family friend.

Wife is hosting a party tomorrow night. :( I hate the mad rush to clean up the house to impress people.

Going to my Uncle's on x-mas eve, then my wife's family and my mom will all be at our house on x-mas day. More fucking cleaning.

The thing I hate about having family and parties at my house is dealing with non-gamer adults (who comprise most of the guests)...they see the 360, ps2, computer games, etc and tend to look at me like I'm a 15 year old kid.

Ugh, we're having a party on Friday evening and it's the afterparty cleaning that I absolutely dread :icon33:

lol. My family can't relate either. When they call me, they ask "are you busy playing the internet?"

Yes. I play the internet.

I hate it when family comes over and expects me not to be watching sports on one of my TVs (depending on the game that's going on..)
