I did read the article... I think you missed the pointDTS wrote:If you read the article, you'd see that they are, the 3rd version will be sold for profit not at a loss, cause it won't have losses made up for by selling games, cause it won't be aimed at the games market.Dave wrote:I hope those aren't US dollars in that quote
Given that in the consumer electronics industry manufacturers do not subsidize hardware in hope to compensate their losses by selling many games, it is highly likely that the console, which currently costs $840 to manufacture, will be sold at a premium price. The Japanese web-site noted an executive at SCEI as saying that the price range could be from ¥200 to ¥300 thousand ($1680 to $2520).

Just upgraded to the latest unoffical firmware on my PSP, now I can play PSone games using the offical Sony Emulator, only it loads them as ISO's... I.E. If i have the disk (or know where to get them) they play full speed, perfectly fine.
Fuck me, res evil, metal gear and Final fantasy 7 are ALL perfect! Its great!
Just making sure I wasn't missing something - I'm still trying to catch back up on all the technology, since hopefully I'll be buying one in a couple months or so.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:i wasn't talking about 42" LCD HDTV's - more like around 30". and no, i wasn't necessarily talking about good tv's, was just making a pricing point.

I can't find one that does 1080.Dr_Watson wrote:couldn't you just buy a 19" LCD and hook it to your console?
No. Maybe they can do 1080 but their native resolution is different so the picture quality wouldn't be so good when doing that resolution.dzjepp wrote:is that a joke
