and was he challenged on this point by the interviewer in any meaningful way? i.e. by pointing out that people like scott ritter had been saying saddam was disarmed back in 2002?

Scott Ritter was a traitor, it doesn't matter that he was right, he took a tone with interviewers that smacked of treachery. Bastard.

Scott Ritter had the moronic idea of actually being informed. His second moronic idea was to tell the truth.

Scott Ritter is the reason the Iraq war is shit....and he'll be the reason the upcoming Iran/Syria/US/Israel war will be shit.

He smiles so often when he's asked serious questions, I'd really love to know what's going on in that near-empty skull.
He's also saying he'll do whatever he wants regardless of what Congress says.

I mean....FFS....he just admitted to an impeachable offense on national television and nobody blinked.

Bush's Plan: Let's throw some Kurds into the mix for good measure

Christ.

I think Scott Adams should start a new series of comics called Powell. Colin Powell would take Dilbert's place, and Bush would play the pointy-haired boss. Rove could even be Catbert. Hilarity would ensue, I'm sure of it.

To the original topic, I liked this headline at a news site I frequent:
Bush: War skeptics 'proposing nothing': Since Bush has fired all the generals and administration officials who had different a different Iraq policy from his, he wants to know what the Dems plan is. 1-15
