Honestly - and I can't speak for anyone else - it's conceivable that you might have to have lived in the south to really find talladega funny.

I don't know for sure, because I'm surrounded by these assholes every day, and I just think everybody should get a good laugh out of it. :icon32:

Well, if it's any consolation I don't like Ben Stiller, Jack Black, or Jim Carrey either. :icon30:
IMO Stiller is just as bad as Ferrel, Black is funny in moderation, but Carrey is on a whole other level. The dude's got a great range, just like Robin Williams. Have you seen The Majestic, or The Truman Show, or Eternal Sunshine?

Oh, I'm not a hater of Will at all, quite the contrary. I have a lot of respect for the guy. One star emerges from every generation of SNL above all the rest, and that's him this time around. That doesn't mean he can't make a bad movie though.

My wife and I just rented "Stranger Than Fiction" this last weekend and I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It's my kind of movie. It reminded me a Koffman flick, like "Adaptation". But, it wasn't a Will Farrell movie, it was a well written movie he was in. Just the same way as I can't stand Adam Sandler movies, but I've liked at least three that he's been in.

Yes, I've seen all three. Those I can watch. When he's acting like a spaz he just annoys me.
