The part about Jacob was insulting. WTF was that bullshit? They might as well have made him the smoke monster FFS.:icon8:

and are we now supppose to believe the " others" live forever somehow? If they make it out that anyone of the others was on the black rock when it got washed into the jungle.... I'm gonna be pissed.

I hope locke is dead. So he can act as a Ben Kenobi/ jedi ghost and give advice to Jack...Since he's turned into such a cunt.

Anyone else catch the flash-frame of Jacob? LOOKS A LOT LIKE JEEBUS, GUYS.

I think Locke will live, but the implication is that Charlie's next to get whacked.

Sadly, I have to agree. That was so 'generic ghoststory' that they may as well have given the role of Jacob to Paris Hilton.

Ha, I just read the best theory:

At the end of the show, the Losties discover they're in a TV show.

Forbidden knowledge, no babies allowed, slithering snake monster thingy, etc.

Perhaps Dharma discovered the location of the Garden of Eden and wanted to harness its powers through science.
well... maybe. but you might want to read into some stuff:

Come one wtf, it's not fun anymore, if the wrighters say that they have a logical explanation for everything then they really gonna have to reveal something very soon before I stop watching it.
I'm willing to bet that the writers don't care whether you watch or not. That's my theory.

Yeah I've read all that before and I don't see how it refutes anything I said.
Also, it's just a theory. I don't really care either way.

Which is what makes it cheap. The enticement to LOST is the twists. If you can predict anything on the show they arent working hard enough if you ask me. There in lies that novelty of LOST.

I think Locke isnt dead. There is too much entwined with him and i think that he is tied tightly to jacob and to the island. If ben is telling the truth and the island summoned Locke's father then its obvious something unique is going on with Locke and the island, though i think thats been apparent for a long long time regardless.

Jacob cant be anything too crazy. I think there is a trend with the stories on LOST, they start out dark and mysterious and magical and then turn out to be something not. Something with a explanation that just looks magical when you dont know. They seem to have a very " reveal the man behind the curtain " approach. Like the noises in the woods and people dying turned out to be polar bears. Ill say one thing though that was kinda weird. I thought i saw the black smoke last night during the jacob scenes which would imply that jacob is the thing on the island that floats around and killed echo and all that. So im not staying 100% away from a supernatural explanation, but im leaning away from it.

Its getting better though either way. I mean i was really done with the stories and flack backs.

more i look at it, the more it looks like locke with hair and a beard. I mean the hair is real thin so its like a younger locke or something. The forehead looks dead on, but the chin, i dont know. Hard to tell.

jacob is probably a psychological manifestation of some sort, seeing how ben couldnt hear what he had to say to locke and vice versa.

well that was the best episode in ages. ok, so ben aged while his dad didn't, and there's a giant explanatory gap in the timeline between 'ben meets native' to 'ben goes native and kills dad while natives kill dharmas', and it's strange that when they killed the dharmas they didn't bother to bury them properly, etc etc

Ben's dad aged, it was that other guy that didn't. Richard is his name?

Yes, he did. He had tons of wrinkles and far less hair.
