Investment managers making upward of a $1-billion a year are paying lower tax rates than the people who teach their children or deliver their mail.

Warren Buffett, the world's third-richest man, blasted the U.S. tax system earlier this summer because he pays a lower rate of taxes than his secretary. Buffett said, without trying to avoid taxes, he paid 17.7 percent on the $46-million he made in 2006 while his secretary who made $60,000 was taxed at 30 percent.

Unseemly? Immoral? Outrageous? You bet! This imbalance is a consequence of decades of tax reforms that have benefited those at the top, with a marked acceleration under President Bush.

Buffett could not have been clearer about the pernicious consequences. He said the tax disparities have expanded income inequality in a way that has hurt the economy, by constricting opportunity and stifling motivation.
Muffucka oughta be 'shamed he ain't give he damn secatary a damn raise.

My font used to be dogder blue way back when. No idea if this is it or not, but it looks close. And I had this color before that skinny fag0t 'sican, raw.

I dunno, 60 grand seems like a pretty respectable salary for a secretary.

Then again, I've never worked for Warren Buffett. :olo:

I bet this is, like, how the mushroom kingdom got started. It was a world exactly like ours, until the people discovered nuclear power and slowly, slowly the fungus CONQUERED THE EARTH! Fuelled by radioactivity the mushrooms quickly developed immunities to all forms of human assault. Next, the people's own abundance became their demise as they became the main food source for the encroaching fungus. As time passed, certain mushrooms developed the ability to latch onto the head of a human host and feed directly off their mental energies while at the same time controlling their every action! Meanwhile, a small group of renegade humans worked furiously to improve their genetic engineering skills until they were able to blend their genes with a number of different species such as turtles and dinosaurs, simultaneously making them inedible to the fungus and giving them unique abilities that allowed them to at last combat their foes. Unfortunately it was at this moment that the fungus developed the ability to travel between dimensions. They found a hapless plumber from our world and lured him into theirs with the promise of sex in the form of a robot codenamed "Peach." Giving the plumber only what information was necessary and leading him on throughout the world, they systematically destroyed the last strongholds of the genetically-altered humans using their own parallel-dimension ancestors!
And OH MY GOD IT'S ALL HAPPENING AGAIN!
