compiz and beryl are no longer separate entities. they've joined forces so to speak and it's now called compiz-fusion. the coolest part (for me anyway) is that i have super meager specs and all of this runs without a hiccup.

My laptop has a 6100 Go and I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that it runs Beryl smooth as a baby's butt. It had Vista + Aero on it when I got it, which was... less silken. Plus it drained the battery like a bitch.
