Now that I moved, it's about 30 minutes by bus or bicycle (used to be 10 min bike, 20 min walk). Weather or time can really change it. If ride the bus later in the morning, when all the students are on, it can be delayed up to 30 minutes.
It's about 5-10 minutes when my gf drops me off.

Coming home usually takes longer because rush hour is particularly bad now that the I-35 bridge is gone; my route home has become everyone's detour. :disgust:

About 50 minutes from when I leave the flat to when I arrive at work.
Train to Charing Cross (changing at London Bridge), then I walk from Charing Cross to D'Arblay Street.

Don't worry. That's just me.

30-40 minutes by bus, subway, walk.

About an hour door-to-door, tube, train and bike. It's a reverse commute, which means that when I've just done a 13 hour night shift and can barely see, I can't get a seat on the train because of all the jobless cunts going down to London to gawp at the window display in TK Maxx

Heh.. I had to look up whether that was a typo or not. Apparently TJ Maxx is really called TK Maxx in Britain. Huh. :smirk:

Hooray oil rigs?

Mine's 5-10 minutes drive, depending on traffic.

20 minute drive, 10-15 with a slightly dodgy shortcut reversing down a one way street.

one of the folks i give a lift in the morning has got a drivers license now, so probably going to get a pushbike.

To school…My first school, my parents moved radically from our place for getting closer to my primary school. I said, radically because they not just moved the furniture but our house also. At the time it was a pretty quiet area, we had a vacant land adjacent to our back yard and from my house I could see my school. I just had to cross our backyard and the vacant land then the street to go to school. It was so closed to our house that sometimes when I was staying in the recreational area playing with my friends and when it was time for dinner, my mother would go on the balcony and just had to yell at me – Pierro! Viens souper! :sly:
