In reality all people will do with this sort of game type is kill their opponents and then it will turn into a deathmatch with the players on the same team.

No, not in this game mode, you got A.I on the opposite team aswell as the human players that died on the merc team who now spawned as cops.

Not really. It reminds me of Counter-Strike with some added bells and whistles.

I have to agree with Jackal tbh, its "ok", but tbh it looks like it will go either of two ways:

1) It will just get messy, and wont be anything like they hope.

2) It just wont be fun to play.

Remember the best MP games are the most simple ones.

Ok i've only just read the article, and yeah it sounds like potential fun.

like every complicated concept it's gonna be easy to exploit... eg:
start the game, go hide near the getaway location, kill all your buddies as they get back, take all the money, then buy the ultimate armor/weapons pack, and crush everyone... rinse repeat...

if this isn't the scam, there'll be another one. Complicated concepts are near impossible to keep balanced and that's how this'll end up... unbalanced and after 2 days, boring as hell.

Shadowrun has a pretty nice system for as complicated as it is. It's very well balanced.

You can't go hide at the escape car, first off, the car drives by on different times and only stops for a few sec, second, there are A.I guards and S.W.A.T all over the map, third, if a team mate of yours die, he spawns as a cop, he can now see every merc location sine you have a orange icon above your head.. only way to make this invisible is to crouch, and therefore he can see your "camping" location, fourth, if you betry your team and get the money.. you still have to kill off the cops, escape with all of the money, problem is.. your a traitor once the next round starts.
