2) If it DOES happen, Auth servers would get pulled. They wouldnt prevent people from playing the games, as they would get slapped with all kinds of class action lawsuits.

Since pretty much nobody here plays q3 anymore, and many of us haven't for a few years most everyone is just here to tell each other to fuck off for one reason or another. You'll get the hang of it.
