One thing did leave a bad taste in my mouth though. There are so many people out there who are completely out of control - taking drinking and gambling way too far - including one of the guys who was with us.
Lost 2 grand the first 2 hours off the plane, stumbling drunk and rock-bottom immediately, then was up 2 grand the next night, pouring beer all over himself like some kind of idiot. Sat night I woke up to the worst post-drinking sound I've ever heard - the guy was dry heaving on the floor. I say dry heaving, because it's the closest I can come to describing it - it sounded more like he barely escaped drowning on his own vomit and was clearing his lungs. There was actually blood in the sink the next morning. I could barely sleep after that - even after going back to my own room - it was like some kind of depressing acid movie. They wouldn't let him in any clubs or bars that night because he was barely able to stand up, but he was still gambling.
