The technically non-cheating block of code to vote for you:

Code: Select all

Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
		Dim theRequest As HttpWebRequest
		Dim theResponse As HttpWebResponse

		While DateDiff(DateInterval.Minute, Now, Date.Parse("04/07/2008 11:59:59")) > 1
			theRequest = WebRequest.Create("http://www.sarahsleangethomecontest.com/video.php?id=Obsidian")
			theResponse = theRequest.GetResponse()
			theResponse.Close()
			theRequest.Abort()

			theRequest = WebRequest.Create("http://www.sarahsleangethomecontest.com/vote.php?id=Obsidian")
			theResponse = theRequest.GetResponse()
			theResponse.Close()
			theRequest.Abort()

			System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(10000)
			Application.DoEvents()
		End While
	End Sub
One visit/vote per 10 seconds.

FINALIST!

I looked at some of the top videos and I think you might actually have a shot of being her choice.

And.....I'm done. Keep this bumped so I don't forget. If you fall bellow 10 I'll bump you back up. A while back I considered bribing you for the spending money or I would stop my program but I don't really care. I might actually make my own video and push it up too.

I'm going to Paris next morning with the Thalys high-speed train from Rotterdam where I live, no kidding. Staying there 4 days in a hotel with the gf. Been there a few times now, but this time I will plan one whole day visit for the Musee du Louvre. Last time I had to rush it in a few hours and there's so much to see.

Good luck with the competition Obs

Doesn't matter. Top ten enters finals. Then the winner is chosen internally for the grand prize.

But thanks for voting. :)

If I had to choose for someone else to win, I'd pick this one:

Voted the old fashioned way.

I think your video is better than that song anyway.

I actually liked it. So much so in fact that I decided to illegally download pirated music of hers. :up:
