I haven't logged on in a month or so now, once they clear a few things up I'll hop back on.

haven't played in a few months... been distracted by *new* games.
hard to keep q3 fresh.

I probably play three or four times a week on an Instagib server. Fast and fucking furious.

The maps seem to be getting boring now, they really need to include classic maps and some of the ++ maps.. and freezetag because it's fun.

I've started playing normal Q3 again and I'm quite content with that. I don't really know much about this browser based quake live, what's the big deal about it? I presume varying pings will still be there?

Too much new stuff out....just doesn't hold its appeal with so much other shit out at the moment.

I do have to say that Quake Live feels a lot more polished than Quake 3 ever was though.
Not that it's enough to make it stand out for old school Q3 players, but Quake Live is the game Q3 should've been all along. But then again, online gaming was pretty much in it's infancy state back in '99.

When I try playing online games with it, my PC HD loads constantly and the game lags constantly. It didn't used to do that but it has done for a while now. So I play Q3 instead. Also I had to turn the graphics down loads to get playable FPS, which puts me off a bit - I could upgrade, or I could play Q3 instead.

I still care about it - I hope they sort out the HD lag bug, so I can play it online again.

I think OSP might be better overall, though.

I've been playing it alot, it's far from perfect but it gets better with every update. I've mostly been playing duel as well as a little bit of clan arena since that's a very popular mode.

I wonder if dutard has been smashing peoples emotions on it yet.

There are core gameplay changes that fixes q3's primary balance issues. To say any version of vq3 is better is just ignant, dawg.
