It's no less ridiculous than all the dumbass Europeans and left-wingers (probably some of you nitwits) who are convinced that 9/11 was really a Bush-CIA plot and that the twin towers were brought down by explosives and the Pentagon stuck by a missle. :icon27:

I think a group of Americans on this board should get together and create a thread about stupid things all the other countries have done and label it "Ultimate 'the rest of the world' is dumb thread!" Wait, no, that would just give this thread another reason to have more posts.

Squirrels warning

I have this neighbor over my head for over two years but when I went to finish the sides of my house today I realized that It has scrapped at least 1/3 of my 2X4.
My father consider them as rats, I don’t want to kill it. It almost destroyed all of my work.. we just finished it today and while my father was still doing some measurements, it tried to hate the tip of the tape. Willy is still alive though and he should just move under my balcony.

That whole paragraph made no sense.

That editorial is actually very cunning and very well thought out, from a propaganda perspective.
What is does is subtly back up the claim that Iraq was behind the terrorist attacks, but at the same is critical of the government ("they shouldn't have executed McVeigh") and thus is without the blatant "Bush did the right thing" fanboi-ism. The meat of the article takes as a given the link between the Iraq and terrorism, but stupid people won't notice this because it's hard to question the validity of the link (a negative against Bush) when it becomes the basis for questioning the execution of McVeigh (another negative against Bush).
You see? When a conservative media person claims a negative against Bush, the brainwashed conservative masses believe that the assumptions to back this claim must have strong merit, or else how could a conservative in any way be critical of Bush? Unmerited criticising of Bush is left to the liberals, for Christ sake. In an argument like this, the assumption that Iraq was behind the WTC attacks becomes a strong given, beyond the realm of questioning or doubt. "Of course Iraq was behind the attacks, dummy! But look here, we're going to pretend that we're critical and fair and balanced when it comes to Bush and the federal death penalty. That's the real place that you should be critical of Bush, not this stupid questioning of whether Iraq was behind the WTC attacks.... we already know the answer to that."
Cunning. Very. So the article comes off as being very critical (absurdly critical) of the government, but in actuality it is just propaganda to back up the claim that Iraq was behind terrorist attacks on American soil (and, thusly, the US was right to invade Iraq... and, thusly, Bush and the Republicans know how to manage the US and should be elected back to do so in 2008).

I've long wondered why the US has yet to invade and occupy Michigan. Surely the actions of McVeigh and Nichols are more evidentiary than whatever caused us to end up in Iraq.
Michigan hates freedom!

Yep, Bush attacked Iraq because they did the Oklahoma bombing instead of a pissed off republican idiot called Timothy Mc Veigh.
