Wreck, I could write for you. But we'll have to go NC-17. Are you comfortable with that?

defrag is by far the best episode yet. animations before/during the rocket jump and through the smashing wall pillar things were top notch.

sure the dialogue is a bit cheese and the voice acting a bit over the top, but it still works. makes it like a campy b movie; cult classic :D

You got a 480p version or something? My PC can't handle 720p.

He finished the first season. It's been an original story.

It's true.

Check out the filename and replace orbb with any of the primary Quake 3 model names. I'm not sure who exactly made them, but I thought they were done by id Software themselves prior to the release of Quake 3 as promotional material.

Hey Guys, (Quake3World), I'm back with an update! Please read!

Arenas has been a 3 year project since 2007 where we developed a 70 minute fan film based off of Doom and Quake's universes. We've funded over $13,000 into our project for the Season 1 episodes and are 3 months into production of Season 2. We've completely revamped our 3D models, our skinning, our rigging, and have upped our design efforts for all the Arenas characters by 5 fold.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tri ... -rebellion

This morning we went live on Kickstarter.com to obtain backers for our project who will receive bundle packages as rewards for supporting Season 2: Rebellion and helping the project continue to move forward. Kickstarter is strictly for production costs and is in no way creating any profit or life support for the team itself. It will go into contracting out for material we need, or software purchases we desperately must have to move forward.

Please visit our page and help support us if you see the worth in Season 2 as fans, or at lease please pass this link around to other gaming forums, Quake forums, your quake gaming friends! We need your support as Tritin Films has always been a community driven team since 1996. Thank you!

We went live this morning for our 35 day fund deadline. We hope you help us reach our goal!

The YT video was pretty badass, actually. Klesk looks a little retarded but if you throw a little more detail into the environments the series might get some real attention.

You raised 13k already? That's pretty impressive, kudos.

Out of curiosity, is that all your own effort or do you have someone helping for the marketing and funding part? I mean, it's a special kind of job, one that in my experience doesn't really mix with being an artist or a programmer.

I funded Season 1 at 13k myself. I didn't raise it from backers. I've funded 6k of Season 2 myself, but with married life now and how insanely detailed we're taking the show's direction, we have a need for more modelers, more software, more computers, etc. We've just today started our public backing. In the past 6 hours, we've raised $200+ in backing and have 35 days to go. We need about $7500 to get the rest of our work settled for this season.

And we totally agree, our environments are getting ridiculously stepped up, our plugins as well, and our facial rigging. We're putting a lot more time and effort into this second film than we could have dreamed when I started the first film by myself.

Thanks for your support and I hope to see some of you in Quakelive or Quake 3. Introduce yourselves if you see me on. My name is Tritin in-game.

Let me know if I can answer any more questions!

We do have a PR guy that is handling our website, but he's been really busy lately. So at the moment, I'm also handling the PR\Marketing. Something I'm not too good at. ha
