Yep, that's how it started. Any of this action against pirates talk is complete immoral bullshit until that international flotilla stops that stuff from going on. Even if they do it's gonna be hard to get the people back to fishing and things like that, piracy is a profitable trade after all...

Well yeah, but as long as that's not the case surely you agree it'd be in the interest of other countries to enforce laws rather than exploit the lack of them.

The ships they're attacking are cargo ships and tankers, which are just passing through legally. If they want to stop illegal fishing, then go after the fishing boats and stop sidetracking to these other ships for own personal gain.

Oh but they are going after the fishing boats. Going after tankers and cargo ships is just more profitable and as it seems, easy as pie.

Also, i think you shouldn't be applying grandiose concepts like 'passing through legally' on people who live in Somalia, which is after all a uniquely fucked country where's it's pretty much every warlord for himself. Shit, for that same reason you can't realistically expect them to fight the fight against this illegal fishery / toxic dumping in a way we would find politically correct.
