Last concert I went to was Porcupine Tree in Tilburg, Netherlands. I'm going to see them again somewhere in October I think, in Amsterdam. I'm also going to The Mars Volta in July and Anouk (a Dutch singer) in July as well.

Rammstein at the Forum in Copenhagen back in 06 (I think). A small venue and a terrific show.

Holy fuckin double flame throwers, Batman.

B.B. King last month at the Fox Theater in Oakland. Amazing man, great singer and fantastic guitar player, even in his eighties.

I did get to meet every one of NIN - everyone was GREAT

It was not an organized meet and greet sort of thing. Your passes will give you access to everything but the dressing rooms and the catering area.

Fucking awesome awesome gift. THANK YOU TRENT!!!!!!!!

Ok, off to work.
Ok, I'm really looking forward to this now.

You're getting older, wiser... despondent over wasted years in the graduate study of germanic languages.

I'm not sure what the last concert was... Maybe Vince Gill with a bunch of great bluegrass players at the Ryman a couple years ago.

Before that, some crappy festival in Atlanta, Donovan Frankenreiter at a tiny venue here...

I think the best concert I ever went to was Roger Waters - I believe it was in 2000.

Yep, he's a great musician. Even so, I don't care for most of his normal country music, but I'm a fan of bluegrass and that show was terrific. He mostly played mandolin, and all the other musicians were just as good. The Ryman's a small venue by most standards these days, and we were only about 8 rows from the stage. The acoustics were great.

Actually, I take that back. The best show I ever saw was at a birthday party for a friend of our family. He's married to one of the Carter daughters.

Johnny Cash was there, and I got to meet him and shake his hand. It was not long after he got out of the hospital for pneumonia, but he was feeling pretty good and stood up to play Ring of Fire and Folsom Prison for us.

It wasn't a concert, but still by far my favorite musical experience, ever.

Roughly 2-3 years ago, saw the Scorpions and Tesla.

Some shit band opened up. A dude was on keyboard trying to take off a leather jacket while playing and look cool at the same time but he couldn't get it off.

Then later he got in an argument with the guitarist on the stage.

Just went to (a live) Orchestral performance. (Choir of 80+ in the background for the last half of the performance)

The University of Queensland (my home state here in Australia ~3 times the size of Texas USA for interest) Symphony Orchestra and University of Queensland Chorale performed Haydn's grand Nelson Mass, conducted by one of Germany's most recorded musicians, Maestro Werner Andreas Albert.

Beautiful

The inspiring Sunday afternoon concert also featured the University of Queensland Symphony Orchestra performing Mendelssohn's mysterious Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave) and Handel's majestic Concerto Grosso in A Major Op. 6 No. 11.

Get some culture in you :D but beware some interesting anniversaries  Clicky

It's 250 years since Handel's death,the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death and 200th anniversary of Mendelssohn's birth.

Spooky :paranoid: and the numbers are starting to add up :!:

A nice performance.
